And if you have AT&T TV, I think they're still doing $25 off a month (I think that's going away too but for a while that was being advertised for "life" so if it's still on.). And you can (for a short time) add hotspot devices to those plans (about to stop having that feature). Plus it has hotspot/tethering and free HBO. But additional lines after that are only $20 a piece. The new unlimited plans are better than the plan of which you speak, except the 4 line plan is $5 more (after autopay discount) than the old $40 a line unlimited plan. 1 Message Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 12:54 PM All plans say 'if buying 4 lines.' I only need one line I am grandfathered on an unlimited plan from twenty years ago. I'm not sure what features those plans have any more.Īs it's discontinued, I'm pretty sure there isn't much currently in writing that states you can still add a 4th line for free. Now I’m told I was given incorrect information.įourth LINE or fourth SMARTPHONE, needs to be 4 SMARTphones (not just lines). This information was promised to me by the loyalty department. In terms of 5G network coverage, however, AT&T is leading, with service extending to 29 of the country, significantly more than Verizons 12. Can someone help me if this right wrote:Ītt lies to their customers I was told I could add my fourth line for fee aswell when ever I was ready. Verizon covers a slightly larger part of the country with its 4G LTE network, providing service to 70 of the U.S., whereas AT&Ts 4G LTE coverage reaches 68 of the country. However, 4G coverage is much more equal, with Verizon’s 4G LTE coverage hitting over 70 of the country versus 68 for AT&T. Im so frustrated ! 2nd issue with AT&T in a week (note 7 return was 1st ). While Verizon beats AT&T in speed, AT&T beats Verizon with 5G coverage, beating it by roughly seven percentage points in geographical distribution (18 versus 11). Care rep said I was giving wrong info, and change your tablet plan to make it cheaper. Which means you have the right to Blacklist the phone until either the phone is returned, or paid for. As a last resort, that phone still technically belongs to you. Accept a transfer of billing responsibility. Told him that I was told that I can get a 4th line free and that's why put the tablet on the plan. pay you the full balance owed on the phone allowing you to cancel the line of service. I was told today from customer care rep that I'm not eligible for free 4th line because I have a tablet on one line and it has to be a smartphone ? I argued with them, I explained I'm not paying $10 tablet 1gig plan and I'm paying the $40 unlimited line for the tablet. I planned on getting my other daughter her a phone for Xmas and use the 4th line. Now I was told when I got the plan if I added a 4th line i won't be charged( or credited monthly back) of $40. I pay $120 for my (1st )line Unlimited ,then pay 40 for daughters (2nd) line unlimted, pay $40 for my Samsung tablet (3rd) line unlimited. I have the Unlimited data plan with Uverse package paying monthly for my phone ,daughters phone, my LTE Samsung tablet.
